Previous projects by the founder:
Since 2004, Steffen Lohrer and Steinbeis Mergers & Acquisitions have had a philosophy that, upon successful completion of a project, up to 10% of the proceeds would be used to support other people who are unfortunately not on the sunny side of life. In the meantime, a large number of people have been helped, which has always been very touching.
This includes, for example, sleeping bags for the homeless in Heidelberg, financial assistance for the construction of a kindergarten for disabled children in Mannheim, support for the construction of new hospitals and schools in India, special sponsorships in Benin, India, and Brazil, the establishment of two trust banks for microfinance loans in Ghana, the organization of a congress for holistic medicine, and assistance for chronically ill children through alternative healing methods, etc.
Anyone with an entrepreneurial mindset who has ever encountered people in emergency situations, e.g., homeless people or the population in the so-called Third World, may have recognized that the people there are often prisoners of circumstance and need initial support from outside to improve their situation. There are many opportunities and possibilities, but implementation requires more than just moral support. Individual projects focused specifically on helping people to help themselves or supported purely humanitarian causes. In addition to financial contributions, this was also achieved through personal and active involvement on the ground.
